Q:You mentioned proving something, Kings seem to have that theme this year with
a new coach. They are now of course also in need of point guard help and they
picked you. Do they see a player in you ready to explode on to the scene?
A:"I think so. They were interested in me over the last few months but we could
not figure out a proper trade. But now I went from San Antonio through
Minnesota and here I am in Sacramento. Everything will be OK I think, I can
show what I know. Things are in some way back where they need to be.
I had a pre-draft session with the Kings, I went against Kevin Martin and
they selected him and I went to the Spurs. So here I am now, back where I
belong. (laughter)"
