The most important date ahead for the Kings and their fans is May 18, when the annual NBA draft lottery will determine where they pick in the June draft. Will the Kings get lucky and pick first or second and possibly land Kentucky point guard John Wall or Ohio State shooting guard Evan Turner, the consensus top two picks? Or maybe they'll get one of the two touted big men, Kentucky's DeMarcus Cousins or Georgia Tech's Derrick Favors. 以上在講說5月18對國王是非常重要的日子，因為將會決定是第幾順位。 In preparation for the draft, the Kings have spent recent weeks focusing on a pool of 12 to 15 players they'll pick from with their first-round selection. Previously, it was common for some players to return to school after working out and meeting with teams. This rule is great for teams that don't want to spend time evaluating players who might not be available. This year, the Kings have a 15.6 percent chance of landing the top pick after finishing with the third-worst record. Questions about one's love life, hobbies or anything else could come up. The top two big men – Cousins and Favors – might not help a team immediately. Then again, no one really knows anything right now.
