高光 Al-Farouq Aminu has enough pure latent talent to develop into the second best player of this draft. What he lacks in basic understanding of the game, he makes up for in terms of length, raw ability and athleticism. 阿米牛的潛力有機會培養成本屆選秀第二好的球員，他欠缺的是對比賽的基本認識，但阿米牛用長臂、尚嫌生嫩的技術和運動能力彌補這項缺點。 He has improved considerably during his two seasons at Wake Forest and still has plenty of room for more meaningful development. I'm very glad he didn't declare for the 2009 NBA Draft because he has become a much better all-around player while having an opportunity to be the lead scorer on an ACC team. If Aminu had not had that opportunity, he undoubtedly would have played fewer than 1500 NBA minutes and very well could have had a D-League stint. He still needs to slow down a little bit when he has the ball to improve his decision-making while remaining balanced. He has strong pre-dribble moves, both out on the perimeter and also in the mid-post. I don't typically like to rely on player comparisons to describe a prospect, but there is quite a bit of Carmelo Anthony in what he can do in the halfcourt. He will never be nearly that gifted as a scorer, mostly because he doesn't seem to have the preternatural understanding of the game the way the greats do. He has more confidence with it and is far more effective than he was a freshman. He won't frequently play the point forward role, but has absolutely no problem grabbing a rebound and taking the ball up the floor himself. Because his decision-making is questionable as a passer, he needs to make sure he doesn't attempt to complete any high degree of difficulty passes. He has the kind of basic fundamentals that gives his future NBA team a lot to work over the thousands of reps they will get for him. His follow-through is particularly promising, but he clearly needs a lot of work to improve. He is able to extend over most peers at his position, whether it is for a shot attempt or a rebound. He has a good vertical and even more importantly, he is a quick jumper, both his first and second jump, which makes him a pain for other teams on the offensive glass. When he gets just a little bit of space, Aminu can emphatically fly through the air to power slams. Aminu can block a shot per game, but this is a result of physical superiority against inferior athletes rather than any type of translatable skill. Aminu also either overcommits or undercommits with far too much frequency.
