That leaves the Kings with roughly $17 million in cap space, with the No. 5 pick in the draft already accounted for. There had been some question as to whether Dalembert waived the trade kicker or not. Aykis Note: Samuel Dalembert did not waive his full trade kicker, since that's illegal, but he did waive a significant amount. According to a great update by Sham of ShamSports, and confirmed to me by Larry Coon via Twitter, Samuel's maximum trade kicker of 15% would have given him $1,932,673.35, split over this season and next season (this season's contract doesn't end until July 1st). Effectively, this means that Sam would have been owed $966,337 more next season. Instead, it has been cut down to $365,306 for next season.
