No one has played well enough, or, ahem, with enough maturity, to secure the starting job at any position. Backcourt : Tyreke Evans backsliding from a great rookie campaign -- whether because of injury, injury or personal issues -- is the biggest of all Kings concerns. But he still has a limitless future. Defense: The Kings focused much of their offseason efforts on becoming more of an inside force… and they're still 26th in shooting defense and also struggling on the defensive boards. Bench : The irregular rotation has, if nothing else, allowed the Kings to show what coming in figured to be good depth, especially up front. But there is still no dependable scorer. Coach : With distractions swirling, the Kings still play hard. That says something about Paul Westphal. But many of the losses are caused by terrible execution and lack of intensity.
