It’s pretty strange why George Karl is reluctant to play his defensive-minded rookie consistently. It has really enraged fans and now Cauley-Stein has addressed it in a very vocal way. So that’s just an excuse I think. However, I’m not the coach.” "太有趣了，真的太有趣了，(理由)有些太薄弱了，就因為我可以守五個位置，所以這是多餘的嗎，否則我怎麼不能上場。" "應該從來都沒有什麼對位的問題吧。所以我想這只是個藉口。不管怎樣，我不是教練。 Cauley-Stein is certainly frustrated and doesn’t understand why he doesn’t get enough burn. The words he said were very accurate. Things need to change soon. I think it will be very interesting how Vlade Divac responds to these comments. Divac is in his first year and he also drafted Cauley-Stein. I’m sure he has a soft spot for his rookie. WCS無疑是失望的而且他不知道為什麼他不能得到足夠的上場時間。他說的一字一句都非常精確。事情應該要快點改變。我覺得Vlade Divac如何回應這些意見將會相當有趣。 Divac是第一年在他的工作崗位上而且也選了Cauley-Stein。我很肯定他是對他的新秀很有愛的。 Cauley-Stein has played just 14 minutes per game over his last seven contests and an embarrassing 5 minutes against the Pelicans last Monday. That is simply unacceptable and there is no way to justify Karl’s excuses on why he doesn’t play him consistently. With that said, Karl addressed Cauley-Stein’s inconsistent minutes after the loss to the Cavaliers with some absurd comments. Cauley-Stein在過去的七場比賽平均只上14分鐘並且在上星期一面對鵜鶘的比賽更是只上了令人尷尬的五分鐘。那簡直令人無法接受而且沒有辦法可以證明Karl的那些關於為什麼他不讓WCS持續上場的理由是正當的。按照上述的說法，Karl在對騎士輸球後也對Cauley-Stein的善變的上場時間發表了一些不合理的意見。 “My whole feeling is, don’t overreact to the last three or four games,” Karl said. “One, I think was matchup, two, I think was just the personality of the game. Willie’s going to be fine, he’s going to get plenty of minutes over these next 20 games.” "我的想法是，別對過去三四場球有過度的反應。" Karl說。"第一，我想是對陣的問題，第二，我想是球賽特性的問題。Willie將會很好的，在未來的20場比賽他會得到足夠的上場時間的。 I just don’t think that’s a proper response because if your goal is to win games and it’s very clear Cauley-Stein is one of your best defenders, if not the best, you should be playing him when it matters. Not just because you are falling out of playoff contention.
