Knicks Place Crawford on Injured List
NEW YORK, December 26, 2004 –
New York Knickerbockers President of Basketball Operations Isiah Thomas
announced today that guard Jamal Crawford has been placed on the Injured
List with right turf toe and guard Jamison Brewer has been activated.
Crawford, 6-5, 190-pounds, has been placed on the Injured List with right
turf toe. The injury occurred on Wednesday at Boston at the start of the
third quarter.With this degree of injury, it typically takes from 3-6 weeks
to heal. In 26 starts this season, the four-year NBA veteran has averaged
19.3 points and 3.7 assists.
Brewer, 6-4, 195-pounds, had missed the last 10 games on the Injured List
due to right big toe tendinitis.The three-year NBA veteran is averaging 1.3
points and 10.3 minutes in four games.
