Knicks Sign David Lee to a Contract

NEW YORK, July 1, 2005 -- New York Knickerbockers President of Basketball
Operations Isiah Thomas announced today that forward David Lee has been signed
to a contract.
Lee, 6-9, 249-pounds, was selected 30th overall in the 2005 NBA Draft by
New York and had averaged 11.3 points and 6.8 rebounds in 127 career games at
Florida. The 22-year-old St. Louis, MO-native earned All-SEC Second Team honors
during his senior year.
The NBA’s New York Knickerbockers basketball team, completing its 59th year
of operation, is part of Madison Square Garden, L.P. Cablevision Systems
Corporation owns Madison Square Garden, L.P., which includes MSG Network;
FSN New York; the New York Knicks (NBA); the New York Rangers (NHL);
the New York Liberty (WNBA); Radio City Entertainment; the Hartford Wolf Pack
(American Hockey League), and the Madison Square Garden arena complex,
located in the heart of the New York metropolitan area.
