Notes & quotes: Antonio Davis will be in New York and in a Knicks uniform by
tomorrow, according to Knicks president Isiah Thomas. In the meantime, the
Knicks yesterday began fining Davis an undisclosed amount for each day he
failed to report to the team. Davis was traded to the Knicks as part of the
Eddy Curry trade. Davis reported to the Knicks' training camp for one night
after the trade, then returned to Chicago to be with his mother-in-law, who
was undergoing surgery. Davis made it clear that he was
