Zach Randolph has had quite a debut. Hit his first 6 shots, five from the
perimeter. He has 13 points at the half on 6 of 7 shooting.
Wilson Chandler got into the game with 9:03 left in the second quarter. He
scored his first two points on free throws, but threw down a nasty two-handed
slam on a power move around Jason Smith with 4:48 left in the half. It put
the Knicks up, 38-28.
Knicks look to be cruising, but the Sixers are struggling from the floor (13
for 40). Knicks aren't much better, with 14 for 40, but they've hit three
threes and are 15 of 19 from the line. David Lee is 7 of 8 from the line with
9 points. The Sixers are 9 of 14 from the line.
Isiah went with Nate Robinson, Mardy Collins and Fred Jones together for a
small unit that showed a little full-court pressure. Lots of up-and-down, but
not much offense.
Quentin Richardson hit a three for his only points of the half. After the
shot, he did the fists-to-the-head thing. Is he bringing that back?
Jamal is 1-for-4. 3 points.
Steph has 6 points, 4 assists, a steal and 2 turnovers.
Demetris Nichols didn't get any burn. Neither did Randolph Morris, Jared
Jordan or the other rookies.
Andre Miller has 9 points to lead the Sixers.
Crowd here is weak. The place is about half-full and mostly rooting for the
Knicks.
