Renaldo Balkman, who missed all of the preseason with that "stress reaction"
in his ankle, finally participated in his first full practice on Monday and
Isiah expects him to be ready for the opener in Cleveland on Friday. It'll be
interesting to see if Thomas tries Balkman against LeBron James when Quentin
Richardson, who usually defends LBJ well, goes to the bench. Balkman seemed
to relish playing a stopper role in the Las Vegas summer league last July.
But can he do it against an all-star?
