There is growing speculation that Stephon Marbury could be waived by the
Knicks as soon as after Sunday night's game.
Donnie Walsh wants to meet with Marbury prior to waiving him, which means
there's still no guarantee that Marbury is cut loose, depending on how the
meeting goes. However, all signs are pointing to this drama coming to an end
sooner than later, and now is the time to pick him up. If Marbury lands in
the right situation, he should end up being a No. 1 point guard option again.
There is also speculation that Marbury could dress tonight due to team
injuries, but it's probably not likely.
