Jeffries expects to play about 15 minutes off the bench and would give the Knicks the size they have lacked all season. Though the Knicks still are decimated in the backcourt, president Donnie Walsh said he believes the Knicks' injuries up front have been an overlooked factor. "Our three biggest guys haven't been on the court all season," Walsh said yesterday, referring to Jeffries, 6-10 Danilo Gallinari and 6-11 Eddy Curry. "Our roster hasn't been 100 percent the whole season. It's been difficult for our front-court guys to guard centers." Jeffries is not the traditional Mike D'Antoni shotmaker, but the coach compared him with Boris Diaw during training camp. Jeffries將在明日對老鷹以板凳出發,大約上場15分鐘左右.
