Jason Williams(notes) spent four years playing for the Memphis Grizzlies and
it's looking like he may get to tack another onto that list, according to the
Memphis Commercial Appeal.
Memphis is apparently trying to bring the man known as White Chocolate back
to the team. He was in the city on Monday to show team owner Michael Heisley,
general manager Chris Wallace, and some of the coaches that he's still got a
few moves left in his 33-year-old body after taking a year off.
The New York Knicks had exclusive negotiating rights with Williams up till
last Thursday after claiming him off of waivers from the Los Angeles
Clippers, a team Williams never actually played for. The Knicks are
apparently still interested in signing Williams and he also has some interest
from the Orlando Magic.
