Walsh passed on signing him to a long-term contract extension at Oct. 31's deadline but claims he will not rue the decision. 瓦許昨天承諾他會留下威錢。 "Wilson's a restricted free agent and I'm going to sign him," Walsh said yesterday. 不用擔心這一點，如果這一季沒有交易到甜瓜，又要續簽威錢的話，我們是沒有機會在簽甜瓜的，也沒有機會和籌碼交易甜瓜。如果新的勞資條款對受限自由球員的規定沒有更改的話，瓦許將匹配任何報價來留住錢德勒。如果老的勞資條款中關於允許工資帽以上球隊同本隊自由球員重簽合約的規定沒有被更改的話，尼克斯就可以先簽下安東尼，再和錢德勒續約。「就算我們沒有能力（匹配報價），我們也會簽下他，」瓦許說，「這就是時機到來之時，我們的打算」。

感謝提醒，不過上面那段不是我翻的，可是原文也有提到補一句應該可以先簽FA再續約吧? 只是空間問題? The Knicks can snare both if the old CBA has the same rule regarding teams' ability to exceed the salary cap when re-signing their own player. To do so, the Knicks would have to first sign Anthony, then Chandler.
