Amar’e Stoudemire wasn’t going to miss this game. The Knicks star said he will return to the lineup Wednesday night against the Hawks after missing Saturday night’s 105-95 victory over the Nets with a sprained toe. The previous Knicks-Hawks meeting, on Jan. 28, was a memorable one: Atlanta won 111-102, but the game was marked by an altercation between the Knicks’ Shawne Williams and Hawk’s Marvin Williams, and Hawks forward Al Horford pounding his chest after making a big shot. “He felt good. His team was winning,” Stoudemire said of Horford. “He had a couple baskets. He hit a couple jump shots. But he felt good. He felt like he was doing something. But welcome to New York.” “It’s going to be a very, very intense game after what happened in Atlanta, ” Stoudemire said. “I think we feel that we could have played a lot better than we did after watching film today.
