[外電] Curry won’t play against Knicks
For the second straight game, the Knicks will not have to worry about their
opponent’s best player.
According to USA Today, the Warriors’ Stephen Curry will sit out Wednesday’
s game against the Knicks, who beat the Celtics playing without Paul Pierce
in their opener. Curry hurt his ankle in the preseason and tweaked the injury
in Monday night’s 99-91 win over the Bulls.
"They did X-rays (Monday) night. Everything's fine. It's OK," agent Lance
Young told the newspaper.
"It's just a sprain. Nothing serious. With this shortened season and back-to
backs, for him to be able to get four days of rest and get ready for Saturday
(against the Philadelphia 76ers), he thought that (sitting out Wednesday)
probably would be the right thing."
The former Davidson star had 21 points, 10 assists and seven rebounds against
the Bulls and Derrick Rose before re-injuring the ankle in the fourth quarter.
