消息來自 Bill Simmons，雖然都是 rumor，但不可否認 Simmons 有可能獲得的是真實消
息。Simmons 是第一個報導 CP3 要去快艇的人，他也是第一個知道快艇在三月中極有可
能火掉 Vinny Del Negro 的人。
Simmons 在與 ESPN 的訪談中說:
"我知道 Phil 想再出來帶隊。(你從何得知?) 我知道因為我跟知情人談過。我也知道禪
師想去尼克是個事實。I know for a fact that Jim Dolan didn't want any part of
Phil Jackson, because Jim Dolan doesn't like people who think they're smarter
than him. Jim Dolan has a whole weird inferiority complex. Phil Jackson is way
too smart and there was no way he [Dolan] was ever going to deal with that guy,
so he hired Mike Woodson."
