As Rasheed Wallace continues to work on his conditioning, Mike Woodson
slipped in some info on his progress. More:
The team is finishing up a three-game preseason road trip tonight in Syracuse
against the 76ers. Rasheed Wallace stayed back in New York to focus on his
conditioning in order to get himself into game shape as he attempts to make a
comeback following a two-year retirement.
球隊已經打了3場客場球賽，現在來到了雪城，即將與76人開打。西蛙仍然待在紐約，

Woodson said Wallace will be evaluated on Tuesday to see if he may finally be
cleared to practice and participate in scrimmages, which he has yet to do.
The 38-year-old signed a non-guaranteed deal at the start of training camp.

With Amar'e Stoudemire out and expected to miss the start of the regular
season, Wallace's readiness becomes that much more critical.

Woodson hinted some optimism when discussing Sheed on Sunday.

"Rasheed might be closer to getting on the floor than [Marcus] Camby,"
Woodson said.
「西蛙可能比坎比可以更早上場。」武僧說。
Camby has missed the last two weeks with a calf strain. He was expected to be
back late last week but has yet to practice.

Woodson admitted he was "just speculating" about how close Wallace was to
joining practice, but there's no question having the 6-11 veteran available
would ease some concerns about the Knicks' injury-riddled frontcourt as the
season nears.

With 13 players under guaranteed contracts and Wallace expected to make the
team, there's little room for the Knicks to make any contingency plans (i.e.:
free agent Kenyon Martin). There's also Chris Copeland, the 28-year-old
rookie, who is hoping to make the team as a depth forward and has opened eyes
with his scoring and effort in the preseason.
