Smith rarely has been accused of being gun-shy on a basketball court. In fact, the New Jersey native doesn’t ever recall hearing a coach yell at him to shoot the ball more often, as Mike Woodson did in the first quarter Sunday against the Sixers. 在史密斯（J.R. He quickly missed a contested layup, but then passed up a couple of open looks before the quarter ended, including one ill-advised pass for a turnover that caused the fans and his coach to grumble. “I was yelling at him to shoot the ball,” Woodson said. “Shooters are going to take some bad shots. That is just the nature of the game. I don’t mind that, as long as he is defending and doing the necessary things to help us win.
