CHANDLER CAN'T DO IT BY HIMSELF From Elias: Tyson Chandler made 12 of 13 shots on Monday (92%) while his Knickerbockers teammates were only 21 of 72 (29%). It was the first time in nearly 56 years that a player made at least 90 percent of his shots, while taking at least 10, and his teammates made less than 30 percent of their shots. The previous instance was on Jan. 25, 1957, when Walter Dukes made 9 of 10 and his Lakers colleagues were 29 for 99 (29%). Monday's game was the first Knicks/Nets game in more than 14 years in which each team entered with a winning record. The previous instance came on April 4, 1998, when the Nets (37-36) topped the Knicks (41-33), 97-94, at Madison Square Garden.
