Anthony reported feeling soreness in his left ankle and knee but wouldn't rule out playing on Saturday. The Knicks did not practice yesterday and therefore did not make Anthony available to the media. I'm real sore right now…ankle, knee, hip,” Anthony said on Thursday. "It was the way I landed on the floor." Anthony missed two games last week with a lacerated middle finger. Despite playing without their leading scorer, the Knicks beat the Miami Heat before losing two days after to the Chicago Bulls. Anthony returned on Sunday and scored 34 points in a win over Denver and two days later scored a season-high 45 in a win over Brooklyn. But Anthony saved his best performance for the Lakers and his former coach, Mike D'Antoni. Anthony scored 30 points in 23 minutes including 22 in the first quarter. If Anthony doesn't play on Saturday, the Knicks next game is Monday against Jeremy Lin and the Houston Rockets.
