NEW YORK -- The New York Knicks' front line will be a bit thin for the next
week.The team announced Tuesday that center Tyson Chandler is expected to
miss a week with a small bulging disk in his cervical spine (neck area).
尼克隊的前場在未來的一星期又將人手短缺，拳王因頸椎椎間盤有點小凸出，預計要缺賽
一個星期。
Also, Kurt Thomas is expected to be out two to four weeks with an an acute
stress reaction surrounding a chronic stress fracture in his right foot,
according to the Knicks.

Both injuries were revealed in MRIs taken earlier Tuesday.

Thomas, 40, originally suffered his foot injury last Thursday against the
Blazers. Thomas, the oldest player in the NBA, played the Knicks' next two
games in pain.

The injuries are the latest in a long line of ailments to the Knicks'
frontcourt players.

following surgery on his right knee. Rasheed Wallace is also out until at
least the first round of the playoffs with a broken bone in his foot.
The Knicks may opt to add a player via free agency in light of Thomas'
injury. To open a spot, they would have to cut a player on their 15-man
roster.

The team hopes to have Carmelo Anthony back on the floor Wednesday against
the Magic but is listing him as questionable. Anthony has missed six of the

SALT LAKE CITY — Kurt Thomas sat at his locker, his right foot in a bucket
of ice, in the visitors’ locker room at EnergySolutions Arena. He had a
smile on his face, appearing content to quietly reflect on his night.

As reporters began to approach him, he seemed slightly surprised to be the
