Supporting cast is unreliable ... You ne ver know what you're going to get from the likes of Smith, Shumpert, Stoudemir e,Andrea Bargnani or Samuel Dalembert, who either lack consistency or typical ly have injury trouble ... Sometimes both ... Ball movement and good shot sele ction have not been staples of New York basketball lately ... That's supposed to change with the triangle offense, but it could take a while till these play ers figure out the new system ... Calderon can often be a liability on the def ensive end ... Melo and Stoudemire are not known for their defensive prowess e ither ... Summing things up: D is likely going to be a big issue again ... The y are a little thin at point guard behind Calderon with 37-year-old Pablo Prig ioni and sophomore Shane Larkin as reserves ...Derek Fisher as a rookie headco ach that will make rookie mistakes. 罩門：過去的尼克（五僧）太依賴甜瓜……而配角們則是靠不住的。你永遠無法預測以下這些人： Amare, J.R , Bargnani ,Dalembert 還有香波的穩進攻定性。還有，別忘記他們的健康也是一個不穩定因素。至於某人在球場上還會幫對手綁鞋帶呢！有時候這些球員，兩個問題（進攻的穩定性與健康）都會有。近來的尼克（武僧時期）投籃的選擇性，還有球的流動性都很遭。傳說中的三角進攻正被導入這隻球隊，問題是尼克的這群老狗們能接受嗎？是否會適應不良！？最少可以確定的是老狗們需要一段不算短的適應期吧。 Jose Calderon的防守可能常常會在場上消失。兩個巨頭 Melo與 Amare是聯盟中頗知名的眼神防守二人組。可以說是聯盟中最不會防守的那一對明星球員（我說前鋒就是了，最不會防守的後衛在火箭隊，謝謝）。防守會是訓練營的重點訓練項目，而在控球這個位置……尼克似乎會吃小虧。兩個可以私下用西班牙話講教練壞話的老人家都有歲數了，雖然在過去的國際大賽中兩個老家伙都很威。甚至還帶隊在國際賽痛扁過夢幻隊，不過現在我們是在討論NBA的球季（還有他們都老了 ……不是嗎？）。Shane Larkin雖然年輕，生猛有力……不過套一句賭王陳金城的名言：年輕人終究還是年輕人！乖乖上場繳學費吧…… 對了……尼克的新教練也是一個新人，老魚恐怕也會犯下一些新手教練的錯誤…… 所以還是那句老話：年輕人終究還是年輕人！（因此，尼克會犯下很多錯誤繳新人的學費吧……）大概就是新球季尼克的最佳寫照吧！ AVERAGE PLAYER: 28 years and 48 days (opening day), 6 foot 7.56 inches, 219 lbs. More of the same this year? 新人年後每每有野獸般的表現（兩津上身！？），不過尚未在NBA成為最後的贏家。今年還是一樣嗎？ PF:Amare Stoudemire Will be the top power forward of the team even if he ends up coming off the be nch for Jason Smith. 就算在Jason Smith底下打替補，Amare仍會是這隻球隊最好的大前鋒。 C:Samuel Dalembert You salivate at the potential and end up a bit frustrated with the performance . His length will be a defensive asset. 雖然老狗真的變不出新把戲了，不過他的身高會是尼克禁區的屏障。 Sixth:J.R Smith A new episode in the roller coaster ride that is JR Smith's career.
