Real Sociedad to net 13M from Xabi's Liverpool move

Real Sociedad's sale of Xabi Alonso to Liverpool could eventually net
them ￡13 million.
Real confirmed on Tuesday that Xabi would be on Merseyside some time
today after they accepted Liverpool's offer of ￡10.7 million for the 22 year
-old.
Another ￡2.25 million will arrive based on appearances and success for
Xabi at Anfield.
Real Sociedad have also negotiated a buy back option, giving them first
refusal on the midfielder should Liverpool decide to sell. In the event he is
sold to another club, Real will receive a percentage of the fee thanks to a
sell-on clause.
