Amoroso agrees Malaga move

Brazilian striker Marcio Amoroso has joined Malaga CF on a season's contract,
four months after being released by BV Borussia Dortmund.
Option of extension
If Amoroso impresses at Malaga, the Primera División club have the option of
extending his deal by a further two years. The 30-year-old left Dortmund at
the start of April after a series of disagreements, which prompted the managing
director at the Westfalenstadion, Michael Meier, to speak out about the
player's "total lack of respect for his club".
Impressive record
Amoroso has not played a competitive match since suffering a knee ligament
injury last September yet his scoring record in the Bundesliga was impressive,
with 28 goals in 59 games following a €25m transfer from Parma FC in 2001.
Amoroso has also played for Udinese Calcio in Italy, the Brazilian clubs
Guarani FC and CR Flamengo, and Japanese J-League side Tokyo Verdy 1969.
