Bétis confirm Nélson
Spanish club Real Bétis have successfully signed Portuguese International
right-back Nélson from Benfica. The transfer is thought to have cost Bétis
around €6m including further payments in the future.
Nélson has signed a 5 year contract which may extend for an extra year if he
completes an average of 20+ games a season. The player underwent medical
exams today and it all concludes that he will not be returning to Lisbon.

logical that the financial aspect of the deal was important."

Quique Flores and Rui Costa will be adamant to replace Nélson before the
transfer window closes at the end of the month.
