Battled multiple ankle injuries his entire senior season, but still managed to earn Honorable Mention All-America honors and was a Wooden Award finalist. Walton was a preseason Associated Press first team All-America pick and was on the preseason and midseason Wooden and Naismith Award watch lists. A Playboy preseason All-America pick as well. Named NABC first team all- District 15. Named all-Pac-10 for the second consecutive season One of only three players in Pac-10 history to tally 1,000 career points, 500 rebounds and 500 assists. Walton finished his career as the No. 22 career scorer (1,179 points), No. 4 in assists (582), No. 8 in games played ( 129) and No. 9 in steals (151). An all-NCAA West Regional selection in NCAA Tournament. Averaged 15.5 points, 7.3 rebounds and 7.3 assists in the NCAA Tournament. Possesses a great all-around game and led all frontcourt players in the country in assists as a junior. Seems to enjoy making everyone around him better due to his understanding of the game. His 38.4 three-point field goal percentage as a senior was a career best and ranked 10th in the Pac-10 Conference. Comes from a family that has produced its share of basketball talent.
