湖人目前可用的薪資例外條款
由於湖人目前薪資已經超過薪資上限規定

除了交易以外，以下是目前湖人可用來增加新成員的籌碼 (約略估計)
Mid-Level Exception: $4.9 million, which may be used for free agents. Can be
split and given to multiple players.
Trade Exception: About $2.5 million, from Shaq trade. May be used in trades
only.
Trade Exception: About $800,000, from expansion draft. May be used in trades
only.
Non-Bird Exception: May be used for Karl Malone, Horace Grant and/or Byron
Russell only. Can pay 120% of their previous salary, or 120% of minimum
salary, whichever is greater.
Minimum Salary Exception: May be used for free agents or trades. Can be re-
used on as many players as they wish. Salary depends on years of service,
ranging from $385,277 (rookies) to $1,100,000 (10+ year vets).
