He has Kobe Bryant, the league's premier winner, Phil Jackson, it's premier coach, and Jerry Buss, an owner always willing to spend. Kupchak can get away with mistakes most other GMs can't. === 湖人隊有頂尖的球員，教練，老闆， Mitch有少犯很多錯的優勢。(一開始就酸....) === But Kupchak has done pretty well on his own too, especially with trades and good value picks late in the draft. His free agent signings have been a bit underwhelming, but again, you can get away with that in L.A. Most importantly, Kupchak never blinked when Bryant demanded a trade in 2007 and did what he had to do to give him the championship team he desired. Other GMs might have panicked, but Kupchak stayed cool.
