Del Potro Ready to 'Serve' at Japan Open
Fast-rising Argentine teen Juan Martin Del Potro took advantage of a rainy day
before the start of the AIG Japan Open in Tokyo to try out a typical samurai
outfit in the Shibuya district. Samurai was a term for the military nobility of
pre-industrial Japan.
The word "samurai" is derived from the archaic Japanese verb "samorau," meaning
"to serve"; thus, a "samurai" is a servant, i.e. the servant of a lord.
Del Potro, 19, is seeded No. 11 at the AIG Japan Open, which starts at the
Ariake Colosseum & Ariake Tennis Forest Park on Monday.
Del Potro enters the tournament at No. 51 in the South African Airways ATP
Rankings, just one place below his career-high mark. He has a 24-19 record on
the season. His last appearance was a third-round loss at the US Open to
eventual finalist Novak Djokovic.

這次籤表總算沒有很早遇到Dancevic了,上禮拜還一起打雙打,可能擊敗敵人最佳的方法
就是找他搭檔雙打,不過也是第一輪就輸掉XD.
