Singles - Quarterfinals D Nalbandian (ARG) d [2] R Nadal (ESP) 61 62 N Kiefer (GER) d [5] F Gonzalez (CHI) 76(5) 62 Doubles - Quarterfinals G Canas (ARG) / D Nalbandian (ARG) d [5] S Aspelin (SWE) / J Knowle (AUT) 63 36 10-7 (Match TB) 小班打進四強保住了去年的積分 (這禮拜開打前大概沒人相信他能打進四強吧XD 他上一次進四強是去年年終大師盃) 四強對手是Djokovic 兩人過去唯一一次交手在今年蒙特婁名人賽小班 2-6 3-6輸掉他和Canas的雙打也打進了四強要對上布萊恩兄弟今天賽程: Nalbandian vs Djokovic 19:30開始 Canas/Nalbandian vs Bryan/Bryan 當天第三場大概凌晨0:00左右吧 Nalbandian: "I did everything well, I played a great match, I took advantage of all his mistakes and, when there was a semi winner, I took advantage or force it. I think Rafa never felt really confortable. He was able to return some of my hits but I played really well." [On playing Djokovic in the semifinals]: "He's a very complete player. He plays really well. Even if it doesn't seem so, he has a good serve, though he hides it. I think his drive and backhand are really consistent. He's very dangerous. I have to play a very good tennis if i want to win and today I'm feeling great after the match. I'll try to do the same tomorrow." 小班覺得他打得很好,掌握對手犯的錯誤,對四強對手Djokovic,他覺得他很全面,而且發球很好,儘管看起來不像發球很強,抽球和反拍都很穩定.必須把今天對上Nadal的水準發揮出來才有機會贏球.
