NBA, Players Discuss Extending All-Star Break
The NBA is considering the extension of the All-Star break to allow rest
time for the players who participate in the weekend's events.
NBA當局在考慮延長全明星周的休息時間，讓那些有參加的球員也可以好好休息。
Adam Silver has spoken to stars such as Chris Paul, LeBron James and Dwyane
Wade about a potentially longer break.
目前NBA新任總裁Adam Silver已經和Chris Paul、LeBron James、Dwyane Wade等
球星們討論有關於加長休息時間的可能性。
“I definitely think it’s something that should happen,” Paul said. “
Obviously All-Star Weekend is all about the fans and showcasing our game
to the entire world, but it would be nice to get a little break. Not saying
the all stars are unhappy or ungrateful for being all stars, but to enjoy
your family for a couple days would be nice.”
Chris Paul對此表示: "我完全認為這是必須的。很顯然全明星周就是為了滿足球
迷以及回傀給全世界展現，但多點時間休息會是挺不錯的建議。我不是說球星們不
開心或不感激成為明星球員，但可以跟家人多相處幾天總是好的。"
Added Silver: “I said, ‘We’d be happy to look into it.' The notion is
that, in addition to the All-Star Game and the events itself, there would
be a break built into the schedule. Maybe we could resume play on Thursday
night, later in the week, to insure that the All-Stars got time off as
well.”
此外，總裁Silver表示: "我們樂見其成。大概是這樣的，除了全明星賽和那些活
動以外，可能會再多排幾天的休息日進去。也許比賽可以晚幾天，像是星期四晚上
