Dion Waiters spoke to LeBron James days before he made his Decision 2.0
announcement and the Cleveland Cavaliers guard had a great feeling that King
James would be returning home.
Dion Waiters在LeBron James宣布返回家鄉的前幾天就表示自己有預感小皇帝即將
回歸家鄉。
“He called me and just told me to be ready. Be ready,” Waiters told SLAM. “
I talked to him four or five days before he made his decision. He just got on
the phone and said I haven’t made my mind up yet but be ready. I told him
that I’m already working hard. I’ll be ready. And he said, I know, I know
you are. Then a few days later I read the letter. I was just really excited
for the city of Cleveland. I think the city, more than anybody, deserves
this. They deserve to have LeBron coming back. I think the excitement is
really back in Cleveland and I’m looking forward to being a part of that.”

The fact that Waiters can be a solid contributor and increase that excitement
makes the situation only sweeter for the second-year shooting guard out of
Syracuse. Waiters averaged 15.9 points and three assists per game last
season, although he had run-ins with backcourt mate and Cavs point guard
Kyrie Irving at different times during the year. James’ presence and
team-first mentality may help thwart any kind of turbulence between the two
this year.
事實上Waiters是個非常有能力的得分後衛，上個賽季Waiters平均15.9分、3助攻，
雖然說他和球隊的Kyrie Irving發生過一些小衝突。不過現在有了LeBron的加入或許
可緩和這兩位年輕人，畢竟LeBron是個以團隊致上的巨星。
