from : liverpoolfc.tv French defender Carl Medjani has now officially left Liverpool to sign for French side Lorient with whom he enjoyed a successful season loan spell with in 2004. 法國後衛Carl Medjani已經通過體檢正式加盟法甲蘿麗人. Medjani was signed by Gerard Houllier from St Etienne just before the start of the 2003/04 season. Indeed, when he signed the defender Houllier claimed he had beaten off competition from Arsenal, Bayern Munich and Manchester United to sign Medjani. Medjani是候老在03/04賽季前由法甲剩一天轉會過來. 據候老說當時他從槍手, 拜仁與曼聯的手中將他搶過來. However the tough centre half and France youth captain never made a first team appearance in a competitive match for the Reds, although he was an unused subsitute for the first team during the Champions League tie in FBK Kaunas last season.
