MIDFIELDER SET TO LEAVE ON LOAN

Liverpool have agreed that midfielder Danny Guthrie can join Championship
side Southampton on an emergency loan for one month until March 31.
The player has yet to sign on the dotted line for the Saints. Back in January
he was awarded with a new contract that will keep him at Anfield until June
2009.
A product of the Academy, Guthrie made his first team breakthrough this
season and made his first start for the Reds in the Champions League tie
away in Galatasaray.
