Sir Paul McCartney is to headline a Capital of Culture concert at Anfield,
it was announced today.
據報導，Paul McCartney將在Anfield舉辦一場文化之都的音樂會
The former Beatle will be the main attraction at Liverpool Sound on June 1,
2008.
這位前Beatle的成員將在2008/6/1成為全利物浦的焦點
An audience of 35,000 is expected for the show – as well as millions of TV
viewers around the world.
屆時將有35000人參加這場演出
Macca said: "I'm very excited about Liverpool being the European Capital of
Culture in 2008. We have a fantastic series of events which are sure to get
you excited too.
"I'm very proud of the city and I look forward to welcoming you all and
showing you a good time. It's going to be a great year!"
The entire programme of events for the Capital of Culture year was announced
today.
