One man who may find his time at Anfield coming to an end is Harry Kewell,
whose opportunities to earn a new contract are diminishing rapidly.
The Australia international has not featured this season due to a groin
injury, and Benitez admitted he may have to cut his losses with a player who
has twice represented the Spaniard in Champions League finals.
“I cannot say how long it will be until he is back,” Benitez said in The
People.
“He must be fit before we talk about a new deal though.”
