[情報] Fernando Torres 'Looking Forward To Playing For Liverpoo
Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson has ended months of speculation about Fernando
Torres's future after the striker told him he is 'looking forward to playing
for the club next season.'
Torres, 26, had been linked with a move away from Anfield all summer as he
was believed to be chasing Champions League football next term. This had seen
Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United and Barcelona rumoured to be
lining up a British record ￡70 million swoop for his signature.
Speaking at a press conference to unveil the Reds' pre-season signings, the
62-year old was confident the Spain World Cup 2010 winner would spurn their
advances.
He said: "As far as I know he is looking forward to coming back on Monday.
He's enjoying the holiday which is a well deserved break, I don't think he's
had one for three years.
"He's spending a lot of time with his family, as far as I know he is keeping
a very low profile, not speaking to anybody but he has told us that he is
looking forward to Monday.
"He is looking forward to getting back to work, looking forward to playing
for Liverpool next season. That's what I know and all other reports I would
suggest are erroneous."
