Joel Peralta (neck) is expected to withdraw from pitching for the Dominican
Republic in the World Baseball Classic.
The right-hander is still dealing with a neck injury, and the Rays
understandably don't want him to push things but appearing in game action
before he's ready. Peralta was signed to a new two-year deal over the winter.
