Wigan manager Chris Hutchings has revealed he made a cheeky attempt to sign
Manchester United and England star Wayne Rooney on loan last week.Wigan were
humbled 4-0 by Manchester United last weekend and Hutchings inquired about
Wayne Rooney's availability during a post-match chat with United boss Sir
Alex Ferguson after the game.
He told the Manchester Evening News: "We had a glass of red wine and I just
said 'could we borrow Rooney?'
我和爵爺享用紅酒的時候，貿然問到"我可以租借Rooney嗎?"
"I also asked what were the chances of taking (Carlos) Tevez and, when
(Louis) Saha is fit again, could we have him for a few months as well!"
同時，如果Tevez和Saha狀態恢復時，是否也有機會租借他們幾個月。
