Posh boss Darren Ferguson called on his father Sir Alex for help in bringing in Chester after losing Craig Morgan to injury. Morgan suffered a fractured toe in Saturday's defeat at Huddersfield Town and faces several weeks on the sidelines. Ferguson told the club's official website: "The fact he is at Manchester United tells its own story. It is initially for a month and he will go straight into the team on Tuesday night, if the game is on. "James made his debut against Derby and has been on the fringes of the first team, but they have some top defenders at Old Trafford. "It is a good experience for James to come out and get some games in the league and we are delighted to have him on board. "It had to be done very quickly, I was speaking with my dad on Saturday night and he has helped us out. I look forward to working with him." Brandy, who turns 20 on Wednesday, is yet to make a first-team appearance for the English champions but has recently been on loan at Championship side Swansea. The Manchester-born striker has made 14 substitute appearances for the Swans this season without scoring. Brandy also spent the second half of last term on loan at the Liberty Stadium and has scored three league goals from a total of 31 sub appearances and two starts for the Welsh outfit. The diminutive youngster is recognised for his pace and skill, and prefers to drop deep and run at defenders. The German youngster was brought to Sixfields in November as Cobblers boss Stuart Gray secured reinforcements before the loan deadline. Zieler saw Northampton extend his stay at the beginning of January and the League One club have now reached a further agreement with United. The 19-year-old is set to stay with Gray's men until at least 25th February after United granted the teenager permission to stay.
