M.E.N. https://bit.ly/36cAtxx Highlights https://bit.ly/33XGHi2 Manchester United player ratings: Dean Henderson and Jesse Lingard good vs Luton Town Man United recorded their first win of the season in their Carabao Cup tie at Luton through goals from Juan Mata and Marcus Rashford. Dean Henderson - 8 Confident throughout and showcased his distribution with an effortless pass to Brandon Williams. Much more vocal than David de Gea and a fine save late on. Aaron Wan-Bissaka - 5 Had to be told to get forward time and again by the United coaching staff. Needs to be told he is not at Crystal Palace anymore. Eric Bailly - 7 There was the odd erratic mishap but he was relatively steady in his audition to replace Victor Lindelof at Brighton. Harry Maguire - 6 (真的是辛苦的公務員 Could have used the ball much better from the back at times but led confidently and helped United keep a clean sheet. Brandon Williams - 6 Had an iffy start but recovered and burst forward to win the penalty late in the first-half. Much improved in the second. Fred - 6 Tidy on the ball without properly effecting the play. A useful workout on his first appearance of the season. Nemanja Matic - 7 Used the ball well and his intelligence saw United through some tricky periods in the first-half. Has to be a contender to start at Brighton. Donny van de Beek - 6 Encouraging with and without the ball and selflessly fashioned a chance for Juan Mata and had an effort stopped by James Shea. Juan Mata - 6 Put United 1-0 up just before half-time with a penalty to become their only player to score in every post-Ferguson season. Jesse Lingard - 7 (林皇歸位!! 如果跟dele alli交換的話......可以喔~~~ Had some purpose about him despite fluttering his eyelashes at an uninterested Tottenham and came close to scoring. Odion Ighalo - 5 A passenger at times and rarely looked like threatening Luton in the first-half but livelier in the second. Subs Bruno Fernandes - 7 Almost scored and claimed an assist. Marcus Rashford - 7 (乾淨俐落 Scored to kill the game. Mason Greenwood - 7 (這球漂亮!!! Scored off the bench. Manager (看來今年都會有教練評分囉XDD Ole Gunnar Solskjaer - 7 Well within his rights to select a strong side with the intention of winning a trophy at the earliest possible stage.
