Aaron Wan-Bissaka 6 Unusually proactive and responded positively to midweek dismissal in the fir st-half. Not as adventurous in the second. Raphael Varane 7 Unfortunate the ball ricocheted off him for the opening goal. Otherwise defe nded classily in duels. Harry Maguire 5 Galvanised West Ham with his dithering defending and not at his optimum in b oth areas. Luke Shaw 6 A constant down the left and his set-pieces were a threat but United never t ook advantage of Shaw's service. Carelessly outstretched arm to concede pena lty. Scott McTominay 6 Uncharacteristically tentative and seemed rushed back for his first start in five weeks. More like himself in the second-half but needlessly rushed back . Fred 4 Careless with the ball and off the pace for West Ham's breakaways. Fortunate to have lasted as long as he did. Mason Greenwood 6 A threat on the ball and United needed to get him on it more. Underused in t he second-half and made way for Jadon Sancho. Bruno Fernandes 6 Started sloppily but, once he found his rhythm, struck the post and assisted Cristiano Ronaldo's equaliser. Paul Pogba 6 Started on the left but drifted inside and controlled the midfield, where Mc Tominay and Fred struggled. Faded in the second-half. Cristiano Ronaldo 6 Made it four goals in three games back at United. Should have buried an earl y second-half chance and desperately claimed for a penalty. Subs Jesse Lingard 8 Played a good cross no one got onto. Then he let rip and won it. Jadon Sancho 5 A blunt cameo. Matic 7 Late sub and an assist.
