Jeff Weaver tossed a simulated shutout on Tuesday afternoon at Angel Stadium, and said he's ready to return to the Mariners pitching staff. The right-hander went through a four-inning, 68-pitch workout and was pleased with the results. 紡織哥在星期二的模擬比賽中演出四局零失分表現，並對這個結果感到滿意。 "I threw all my pitches and felt strong throughout," he said. But exactly when Weaver comes off the 15-day disabled list, and goes back onto the 12-man pitching staff remains unclear. Weaver said he doesn't need a rehab assignment and could refuse such an assignment because of his veteran status. 但是紡織哥還不確定什麼時候會回到 25 人名單中（呼～好險 XD）這小子倚老賣老，拒絕投復健賽 ..╮(﹋﹏﹌)╭.. And what if Weaver rejects it? "We'd have to figure something out," Hargrove said. Weaver, who had an 0-6 record and 14.32 ERA in six starts before being placed on the 15-day disabled list with right shoulder tendinitis, last pitched on May 10 -- a 7-3 loss to the Tigers in Detroit. "He hasn't pitched competitively in three weeks," Hargrove said.
