今年的選秀會上,我們在前兩輪選了五個投手來關心一下他們進入職業第一年的表現吧~ (請注意第44順位的Sean West!) http://0rz.net/700SJ 16. Chris Volstad, Fla, P, 19, RHP Another big pitcher (6' 7”), Volstad already has good stuff that could easily translate to big league success. He has a fastball that sits around 90, but could increase as he puts weight on, and two average breaking pitches. He has strong makeup and a repeatable delivery. GCL Marlins- 1-1, 2.33, 26/4, 27 IP SS Jamestown- 3-2, 2.13, 29/11, 38 IP 22. Aaron Thompson, Fla, P, 18, LHP Thompson throws four pitches, led by a 89-91 fastball and good curve. He doesn’t overpower anyone, but succeeds on command and location. He is considered very polished, with an excellent makeup, for a high school pitcher. Other than batters hitting .310 off of him, his numbers were good for a debut. GCL Marlins- 2-4, 4.50, 41/10, 32 IP SS Jamestown- 1-2, 3.10, 17/10, 20 IP 29. Jacob Marceaux, Fla, P, 21, RHP He throws a mid 90’s fastball with sink, mid 80’s slider and mid 70’s curve. He may need more time to develop his offspeed stuff, as he was mostly a reliever in college reliant in his fastball. Durability has been an issue, and he could become a reliever. Had a rocky debut despite impressing with his fastball. SS Jamestown- 3-5, 5.55, 32/13, 47 IP A-Greensboro- 0-3, 12.36, 12/9, 20 IP 34. Ryan Tucker, Fla, P, 19, RHP Tucker had troubles getting hitters out this year, having lived off of his fastball in college. He consistently throws in the mid 90’s with movement, but his lack of a breaking pitch will hinder him. Struggled in pro debut, as hitters hit .318 against him. GCL Marlins- 3-3, 3.69, 23/16, 32 IP SS Jamestown- 1-1, 8.36, 18/8, 14 IP 44. Sean West, Fla, P, 19, LHP The fifth pitcher taken by Florida thus far, he could be the best. He lacks the pitching smarts of others, but has great stuff. At 6’8”, he throws a low 90’s fastball that could pick up a few mph as he fills out. Compared to Randy Johnson because of height and good slider. Strong debut.
