MIAMI -- One night after Ricky Nolasco outdueled the game's best pitcher,
Andrew Miller turned in the best start of his young career.
The 6-foot-6 lefty threw seven shutout innings while notching a career-high
nine strikeouts on Thursday night, and the Marlins swept the National
League's best team with a 4-0 win over the Diamondbacks in front of 13,233
fans at Dolphin Stadium.
繼前一晚Ricky Nolasco比下了全聯盟最佳的投手後,Andrew Miller在今天投出了生涯代
表作. 這位六呎六的左投手主投七局無失分並且送出了生涯新高的九次三振.

One day after turning 23, Miller -- who threw 107 pitches -- allowed just
five hits and only allowed one runner to get in scoring position. He dropped
his ERA to 5.33.

進佔得點圈. 他的防禦率在這場比賽之後降到了5.33
The Diamondbacks' starter Dan Haren wasn't bad, either, allowing one run
through his first five innings before leaving the game during a rough sixth.
After Matt Treanor and Alfredo Amezaga singled with one out, Wes Helms came
through again as a pinch-hitter when he doubled down the right-field line and
gave the Marlins the security of a three-run lead, prompting manager Bob
Melvin to go to his bullpen.
其實響尾蛇的先發投手Dan Haren投的並不算差. 在七局下遇到亂流前只失一分.
七局下一人出局後,Matt Treanor and Alfredo Amezaga相繼擊出一壘安打.
此時Wes Helms再次代打上場擊出了一支二壘安打,幫馬林魚追加了兩分保險分,
也逼使得響尾蛇總教練Bob Melvin不得不換下Dan Haran.
The Marlins got on the board early when Hanley Ramirez, hitting leadoff for
the first time since May 1, started off the game with a triple to deep
right-center field and later scored on an RBI groundout to second base by
Jorge Cantu. Cantu also knocked in the fourth run of the game in the sixth.
馬林魚在一局下就靠著Hanley Ramirez帶頭的三壘安打加上Jorge Cantu的滾地球

Cantu在第七局也有一分打點的表現.
