[情報] Marlins 2B Uggla wins arbitration case
PHOENIX (TICKER) —Dan Uggla hit another one out of the park.
The Florida Marlins second baseman won his arbitration case on Thursday and
will earn $5.35 million this season.
The two-time All-Star was offered $4.4 by the Marlins before arbitrators sided
with Uggla, who will receive a huge raise from the $417,000 he earned last
season.
Uggla hit .260 with 32 homers and 92 RBI last season. He was arbitration
eligible for the first time.
The pudgy second baseman has hit at least 27 home runs and drove in 88 or more
runs in three straight seasons.
Uggla, who turns 29 in March, is career .262 hitter with 90 home runs and 270
RBI in three seasons since being selected by the Marlins in the Rule V draft in
2005.
