He allowed just one run through five innings, and then was chased in a six-run Los Angeles sixth that included home runs by Casey Kotchman and Torii Hunter. 昨晚紅襪以兩分之差敗給來訪的天使。先發投手松坂炎上，五局掉了六分。前五局他只丟一分，然而到了六局下瞬間被打爆。 For those of you who like statistical comparisons with players from the past, the Dice Man - who came into the game with an 11-1 record - was hoping to become just the sixth player in Sox history to win at least 12 of their first 13 decisions in a season. Sox manager Terry Francona made it a point to bring up the walk to Figgins in his after-game remarks, saying, 「I have to believe the inning is different if we don't lose Figgins. . . . There has been tons of talk about Big Papi's hand, Varitek's slump, Julio Lugo’s fielding and the emergence of the Dustin Pedroia, Jon Lester, Jacoby Ellsbury and Jed Lowries. 有趣的是至今沒有太多人注意他，大家反而都在討論老爹的手、Varitek的打擊、Lugo的守備以及Pedroia、Lester、Ellsbury和Lowries。 Yet there have been very few Daisuke debates. 然而對松坂的討論卻非常少。 Part of the reason is that most people don't know what to make of the season he is having. Even with last night's loss, Matsuzaka is still the owner of an 11-2 record.
