Surprisingly, neither had puncture wounds afterward. "We're gonna go get a beer later," Cuban kidded, rolling his eyes. No, the former partners haven't patched up their friendship. The men who built the foundation for the Mavericks' nine-year run of 50-win seasons still harbor hard feelings about their fractured relationship and bitter divorce, which led to a lawsuit over deferred salary that was only recently settled. But there was at least a momentary thaw after the Mavs' win Wednesday night over Nellie's Warriors.
